FIXED FIRE-EXTINGUISHING EQUIPMENT

     Fixed fire-extinguishing equipment refers to systems and other permanently installed equipment which, in the event of fire, is capable of automatically delivering the extinguishing agent.

     Fixed fire extinguishing equipment includes water or foam sprinkler systems and systems that fill the protected zone with carbon dioxide, inert gas (mixtures of nitrogen and argon) or gaseous chemical agent with anti-catalytic properties (FM-200, NOVEC1230). Fixed fire-extinguishing equipment may be activated automatically as a result of temperature rise by a signal from the fire detection system or manually.
